Dear exiles, the exciting Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.2.0 Dawn of The Hunt will be officially released on April 4th. Are you already impatient? Don’t worry, when starting a new journey, the first thing we have to do is to prepare a new build, which is the cornerstone of our survival in the Wraeclast continent, for some time to come.
If you are happy to experience seeing a large number of enemies on the screen constantly exploding, then choosing an AoE build that suits you is a good choice. Here, we recommend 3 AoE builds worth trying in POE 2 Dawn of The Hunt in the future. Let’s take a look!
3. Demon Form Infernalist Build
Let’s start with a super interesting build, which is the Demon Form Infernalist build with the Witch class. This build relies on life regeneration per second, and life regenerates with damage received to maintain hundreds of layers of Demonflame. This not only increases casting speed by 25% and +6 levels to all spell skills, but also increases spell damage by more than 4,000%.
Pros And Cons
To understand the advantages of this build, its clearing speed is definitely worth mentioning. You can fly around the map at super fast speeds and cast many spells. It’s really satisfying! Not only that, you can also imagine that as the spell damage increases, the boss will die like a normal monster. You only need to fly a circle and stop to collect piles of POE 2 currency on the ground!
Of course, its disadvantages cannot be ignored. The first is that its survivability is very poor. You will even hurt yourself in many different ways. If you are not used to the gameplay of Demon Form, you will die from your own damage many times. So, if you want to try this build, choosing to buy POE 2 currency to invest in your survivability is what you need to do first.
It is also worth noting that the damage of Demon Form Infernalist build relies on the stacking of Demonflame, and sometimes you have to wait for a few seconds for them to accumulate. At this time, you will die from accidental damage if you are not careful.
Another problem is that this build is difficult to complete and relatively expensive. You need to get a lot of life regeneration and maximum fire resistance on your jewels to survive.
Budget
As we just said, this build is expensive and you need at least 10 POE 2 Divine Orbs to complete it. Besides this, two mandatory unique items are also necessary to complete this build.
The first is the Ghostwrithe Unique Body Armor Suggestions , which converts 50% of your life into energy shields. Lower life is essential for you to be able to withstand as many Demonflame stacks as possible.
Next, for the same reason, we need to equip two Ming’s Hearts, each Heart can reduce the maximum life by up to 24%. These two unique items require at least 6 Exalted Orbs.
Rating
Next, let’s take a look at the overall rating of Demon Form Infernalist.
It is definitely worth 10 points for its clearing speed. Its flame blast covers almost the entire screen, followed by a shower of comets, and you can fly from one monster group to another.
Its single target damage is awesome and deserves a full 10. The damage of this build is so high that it can deal millions of damage per second while keeping the boss in place. It’s a real destroyer!
Now for its survivability, I would give it a 6. This glass cannon can only keep you alive by relying on your energy shield and life regeneration. On top of that, you will constantly deal damage to yourself, so you will always die and regenerate.
2. Hammer Of The Gods Titan Build
Next it’s time to smite our enemies, and this is the Hammer of the Gods Titan Build with Warrior class.
I believe that many players will be biased against the Warrior class at the beginning, because it is always more suitable for close combat with enormous weapons, which is difficult for beginners. But honestly, this is currently one of the most fun and comprehensive builds I have ever played. It’s fast, powerful, and has amazing survivability. If you don’t give it a try, you won’t believe how much fun you are missing out on!
Pros And Cons
For its pros, I don’t even know where to start. With Stampede, you can constantly charge at enemies and slam the ground, exploding the entire screen. It’s very satisfying to play this perfect build when you’re feeling a little frustrated with life. Its boss damage is also otherworldly, and the survivability is very high, so you’ll see that this build is almost invincible when it comes to clearing high-level maps. Last but not least, I need to say that this build also comes with 20 extra inventory slots, so you don’t have to worry about your inventory always overflowing!
The disadvantages are really insignificant relative to the advantages. The main problem with this build is the strength required. Since we choose Giant’s Blood in the passive tree to be able to use two-handed weapons and shields, it does bring incredible damage and survivability, but it doesn’t come for free, and now your weapons need three times the strength.
Budget
For a budget, this build is extremely cost-effective! With only 60 POE 2 Exalted Orbs, you can destroy most low-level maps with it. To continuously advance your map, you need to invest in about 100 Exalted Orbs. This might seem expensive, but you’ll get a lot of Exalted Orbs dropped on low-tier maps before you get to high-tier maps, so you can definitely afford it.
Rating
For clearing speed, I’d give this build a 9 out of 10. As mentioned before, Stampede will let you keep running and easily detonate all enemies in your way.
For single target damage, the Hammer of the Gods Titan Build is incredible and deserves a 10 out of 10. And when the enemy is debuffed, combined with all the buffs on you, you can even kill a level 15 boss with just one Hammer of the Gods.
For its survivability, I’d also give it a full 10. When you get Surrender Shield and Block Chance in the passive tree, most enemy attacks will restore your life instead of dealing damage, so it’s pretty safe to clear high-tier maps this way.
1. Tempest Flurry Gemling Legionnaire Build
Finally, let’s take a look at this amazing Tempest Flurry Gemling Legionnaire Build with Mercenary class. I know when you h ear attribute stacking, you immediately think that it will cost hundreds of POE 2 Divine Orbs for sale to make. But you can rest assured that the attributes required for this build can be achieved with about 10 Divines.
Pros And Cons
I don’t even know where to start when it comes to the pros of this build. It has an incredible clearing speed, amazing boss damage and high survivability. This is a build that allows you to have everything and have fun.
Now for the cons, even though the cost of this build is already very low compared to other attribute stackers, it still requires about 10 Divine Orbs to make. This is not something that every player who has just started the game can immediately afford. Another problem is that this build requires three mandatory unique items and you are hard-pressed to limit your elemental resistance.
Budget
Now speaking of budget, as I just said, for this build you need at least 10 Divines to make it work, in addition you also need 3 mandatory unique items to complete this build.
The first one is Pillar of the Caged God, which gives you 2% increased area of effect per 5 intelligence, 2% increased attack speed per 5 agility, and 10% increased damage per 5 strength.
Next, we need a Hand of Wisdom and Action, which increases attack speed by 3% per 25 agility and lightning damage per 10 intelligence.
Finally, we also need the Morior Invictus Unique Body Armour with enhanced attributes and Spirit, this armor can hold up to four runes at a time, which means a maximum of 20% increased attributes, and 40 increased Spirit.
Rating
For clearing speed, I would give this build a 10 out of 10. It never stops moving if it can, and its attack speed is so high that using Tempest Flurry will actually make you faster than walking. Plus, because Pillar of the Caged God brings so many area effects, its Herald of Ice explosion is tremendous and can kill enemies far beyond the line of sight. As a result, the amount of maps you clear per hour is so high that this build will pay for itself very quickly.
Of course, its single target damage is also amazing and worth 10 out of 10. Considering how fast it attacks, this will deal tens of millions of damage in just a few seconds, so killing big bosses with this build is great.
It also deserves 10 points for the survivability of this build. It has a lot of life and energy shield to prevent you from getting hit hard, all of which combined with the over 70% dodge chance will kill 90% of enemies before they have a chance to get to you.
That’s the end of this guide, what do you think of these AOE builds? What other builds do you think will make you invincible in Path of Exile 2 Dawn of The Hunt? Share them! See you in the game!
